This trip takes you to the beautiful cities, refreshing hill stations and the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley namely Hindu shrine Pashupatinath; the largest Buddhist stupa of the country, Boudhanath; and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. After, your insightful visits to Pashupatinath and Bouddha, the trip takes you to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a splendorous palace courtyard that showcases the Golden Age of Nepali medieval art and architecture within the widely scattered area. Beside the cultural junket, the trip then takes you to explore the magnificent sides of the nature at Nagarkot, where you start with the golden view of the wide range of Himalayas glittering during sunset and sunrise. The trip also offers an opportunity to experience hiking in the woody trials of the Nepali mid-hills during the hike to Dhulikhel. The journey, then, continues towards Pokhara, “the city of lakes” along the snaky Prithivi Highway. On the way to Pokhara, another hill-station Bandipur yet again offers you the sensational Himalayan views along with the opportunity to retreat in the remote Nepali culture. As you enter Pokhara, your eyes will be wide open to witness the unique and majestic Mt. Fishtail standing in front of you dominating the skies. Welcome to Pokhara! Pokhara offers some extreme natural wonders with deep verdant lakes, supernatural caves, narrow river gorges, scary falls, magnificent hill-tops and the most importantly imposing view of the great Himalayas. After all these beautiful moments in the most beautiful cities of Nepal, your trip will end in Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

As you enter Nepal on a clear day, it is an electrifying experience to be welcomed by the panoramic view of snowcapped mountain ranges sprawling around, before you land in Kathmandu. A representative and driver from TAGnepal will meet and greet you at the airport. They will escort you to your designated hotel and help in your check-in procedure and will brief you about the trip beginning the next day.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing Kathmandu, Transfer to Nagarkot (2195 m)

After your breakfast, there will be a guided full day sightseeing tour to the World Heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley, namely Bouddhanath Stupa, the largest and the oldest Buddhist stupa in Nepal; Pashupatinath, a mega Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva where you can see one of most celebrated Hindu shrines in full grandeur along with cremation ritual of Hindus at ‘Aryaghat’ at the bank of Bagmati. Then, you will be driven to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur, “a City of Devotees”, 12 km south-east of Kathmandu. Bhaktapur is the smallest of the three valley cities. However, it is incomparable for its impressive art and architecture. Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site is an open museum of the Golden Age of Nepali art and architecture. The Nyatapol & Dattaraya Temples, Golden Gate, Palace of 55 windows etc are the finest examples of sculpture, woodcarving and pagodas. After you finish your sightseeing, you will be transferred to Nagarkot (2195m), another beautiful viewpoint with mesmerizing natural beauty.

Day 03: Hike to Dhulikhel, overnight at Dhulikhel (1550m)

Today you will feast your eyes with one of the most fascinating sunrise views from Nagarkot. The golden rays of sun on the pearly mountain range is a rewarding lifetime experience. Your morning session is followed by a hike to Dhulikhel. As you proceed towards Dhulikhel, beautiful rural settlements, rich vegetation along the view of wonderful Himalayan range start unfolding before you. After a day hike (5-6 hours) through nature trail, you will reach Dhulikhel, which offers you another great opportunity to see nature and culture at their best. Today you will stay at one of the comfortable hotels at Dhulikhel.

Day 04: Drive to Pokhara via Bandipur (1030 m); and evening boating on Phewa lake (827m)

After the morning scenic feast of Himalayan panorama, you will drive to Pokhara (200 km), via Prithivi Highway. The journey will lead you through the winding road, valleys, rivers and sporadic settlements typical of any hilly regions of Nepal. In the midway lies a small hilltop settlement called Bandipur. Bandipur is a cultural village heavily settled by Newars, the community known for art and trade. The picturesque village was once a famous stopover of India-Tibet trade route. The village is a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the Marshyandi Valley and the Annapurna Range along with the peaks of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and Langtang. The place is also a live museum for witnessing the Newari culture. After you finish your visit, you will drive downhill till highway and proceed towards Pokhara. After 2 hours’ drive, you will reach Pokhara, “the City of Lakes”. At the end of the day, you will release all the exhaustion of a day long travel by boating on Phewa Lake in the evening and basking in the spectacular view of legendary Mt. Machhapuchre, “Fishtail”.

Day 05: Full day sightseeing in Pokhara, Fly to Kathmandu

Pokhara, a city nestled on the lap of Mt. Machhapuchre, is the city of outstanding beauty. You will have a guided sightseeing tour of the city. Your trip takes you to the mythological Davis fall, deep gorges of Seti River and Tibetan Refugee Camp. You even get to explore the deep-seated mysteries of captivating cave Mahendra Gupha. After the sightseeing, a thirty-minute afternoon flight will bring you back to Kathmandu. The flight might be your best moment in the air with savoring views of mesmerizing Manaslu and snowcapped Annapurna mountain range. At Kathmandu airport, you will once again enjoy the cordial welcome by our representative.

Day 06: Fly back to home

Finally your fun filled trip will come to an end. If you have some time before your departure time, you can stroll down the streets and do some shopping. Your tour officer and a driver will be at your hotel reception to pick you up three and half hours prior to your departure. You will be transferred to the airport for your international flight back home.
