Briefing Session at the onset of TAG Int’l Everest Expedition North Side 2016!
Kathmandu is now teeming up with our Expedition members from around the world. With the arrival of all our 13 members, we are now fully geared up for the most anticipated adventure. As the preliminary preparation for the adventure, the members are briefed today on the technicalities, gears, equipment, shopping, legal formality, health precautions, safety tips and other last hour preparations by our Chief Mountain Guide Tendi Sherpa, Expedition Doctor Ms Maria Veronica and Director Gobinda Gurung at Lal Durbar Convention Centre, Hotel Yak and Yeti.
The Expedition members have taken part actively in the interaction that has lasted for about three hours. They have enjoyed the whole session and are really excited to start the Expedition. They have got all the required information ranging from the climbing technique itself to seemingly minor but important details like tips and rituals. The team will enjoy the rest of the day in shopping and strolling through the streets of Thamel. They are scheduled to meet Reverend Sang Sang Rimpoche at Narayanthan Monastery tomorrow evening to receive the auspicious blessings from the Rimpoche for the upcoming trip. After spending two days in Kathmandu, they will depart for Tibet on 12 April.
